On July 30, 2026 (Thursday), Hai Phong City will hold a conference to announce the Prime Minister’s decisions on the Economic Zone and launch the Hai Phong Free Trade Zone.
At the conference, the city will announce the Prime Minister’s Decision No. 288/QĐ-TTg dated 12/02/2026 on establishing the Hai Phong Special Economic Zone and Decision No. 431/QĐ-TTg dated 14/3/2026 approving the master plan for the Southern Hai Phong Coastal Economic Zone through 2050.
The conference will also include a ceremony to launch the Hai Phong City Free Trade Zone, marking an important development in building and developing new economic models, creating momentum for economic growth and enhancing the city’s competitiveness.
On this occasion, the city will present investment registration certificates to several outstanding projects, helping realise the development objectives of the Hai Phong Economic Zone and Free Trade Zone, attract strategic investors and create momentum for the city’s socio-economic development in the new period.
